    I'll admit that I don't know much about the area, but this is the point of my comment-we in America are usually so blinded and shielded from any firsthand information in Pakistan and the surrounding area.  Reading this helps "fleshout" the area and give it humanity, something that most media has failed to provide.

    I agree that Elliot would have been a wiseman or something. It's sad that we live in a society that wants to know e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g down to the smallest atom. I think this is the failure of science-we can break things down so small but can't apply the knowledge (in some cases) in sensible, non-destructive ways.

              I am not sure how much you have followed the comic books. When viewing some of the characters you take issue with through their "comic-lineage" they're more on par.   Thats what happens when Marvel is the controlling intrest. So the question is: be true to the comic characters or hollywoodize them for movies?

    I don't think that there is much hope for humanity unless we all learn more about each other. Unfamiliarity is what breeds fear, and fear breeds conflict. There is much to be learned about all cultures, so why burrow into one's own culture solely? I hope others will continue this trend.

    I thought it was very intresting how he pointed out the USA's recent political logjam of famalies for the presidency, which is very similar to Pakistan's.
